Computer Repairs and Upgrades
Computers go wrong... and sometimes it's not just the nut on the keyboard that's at fault! The most common failures afflicting modern PCs are power supplies and hard disks. Power supplies are generally not too much of a problem - pop in a new one and you're up and running again. Hard disks are worse since all your precious data is stored there - your photographs, letters, emails... most difficult, if not impossible, to replace.
Diagnosis and Repair
Often we can figure out what's wrong with your PC and fix it on site. Software problems usually fall into this category but our engineers carry a range of the most commonly needed spare parts and can often fix hardware problems too. If we can't fix it on site we'll take your poorly PC back to our workshop where we can fix nine out of ten problems within a day or two.
Upgrades
Often a repair is a good opportunity to make the odd upgrade while your PC is open. For example: if your PC has 1GB or less of RAM it will run Windows noticeably faster if you add more. If we notice something that can be done easily to give you a noticeably better computing experience we'll suggest an upgrade. Of course it's your PC so it's your decision and if you don't want to upgrade we certainly won't give you the hard sell!
