IT in Schools - Gorsey Brigg, Dronfield

Gorseybrigg is a mid sized school located in Dronfield Woodhouse, Derbyshire and their system includes network with a server and about 45 workstations.

When we audited the school network it was in a state of neglect.  Many of the workstations were old and running MS Windows 98 - some were still using Windows 95!

Over the course of the 3 week project we upgraded both the hardware and the software, implemented a system image and an audit & inventory system.  We brought the whole network to a known and working condition where it made full use of the network's client/server architecture for flexibility and manageability in use and for ease of maintenance.
